      • TOP is a member who is very controversial in Korea. He was serving the military in 2016; however, he was accused of smoking Marijuana while he was in the military. In Korea, using drugs are against the laws. Through TOP, it could be easily seen that Koreans are very sensitive about the military service and drugs 

What can you learn about Korean culture from Big Bang? How has Big Bang shaped Korean culture?
  • In Korea you can see many male teenagers with bright hair color. Usually, boys do not dye their hair. However, it all began when G-Dragon first appeared with his blonde hair. 
  • G-Dragon is first Korean singer/model to receive sponsors from luxurious brands such as Chanel. When G-Dragon wears certain brands of clothes, those clothes start to prosper in Korea. The examples include Tom Brown, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton.
